Our theme for January is learning all about music and musical instruments. The children have been learning about the different families that the instruments fall into; string instruments, wind instruments as well as percussion. The activity here is the children guessing the percussion instruments through listening and feeling the instrument.

BW Pre-School, Arctic Foxes and Parrots

🐦Arctic Foxes and Parrots 🐦

Each class has been done something different this week, one class learned all about the Arctic, Antarctica and Arctic animals, coldness in the Arctic and what animals exist in these places. Some great discussions were had about cold parts of the world. 🌍

The other class explored all about parrots, feathers, and things about the jungle. The class explored different textures, sounds and colours found in the jungle. 🦜🌴
