The Marian Centre is well established
Community based Childcare Project that works with the community in the greater
Bray area.
We are looking
to recruit a full time Early Years Educator to work in our Greenpark Rd Pre-School,
33.75 hours per week 9.00am – 4.30pm.
ESSENTAIL:
·
Applicants must hold a minimum QQI
Level 6 or above qualification in childcare with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
·
Have an in-depth Knowledge of
Siolta and Aistear, Child Protection guidelines and the Childcare Act.
·
All applicants should be able
to demonstrate dedication, flexibility, initiative and an ability to develop a
strong, non-judgemental and supportive rapport with children, parents and
colleagues.
·
Have a strong ability to work
as part of a team.
DESIRABLE:
·
Occupational First Aid
certification
·
Community based experience
·
Experience of working in
partnership with families
·
Have a good knowledge of disadvantage
communities.
