Summer camp was a huge success with lots of variety ,the children were so excited each morning wondering what we had planned for the morning or where we were going. They were all so excited to get on the big bus during our outdoor trips.

Monday
Monday was our trip to the zoo, the children had great fun exploring the different areas of the zoo and the playgrounds, it was a lot of walking but we took breaks to get our energy back up. This year the zoo had Dinosaur exhibits in different locations and the children got so excited each time we would find another one.

Tuesday

Tuesday was play ball, the Play Ball Team that came to do this activity were great with the boys and girls. We played some great games, one was the shopping game where each coloured marker was a fruit that the children had to collect them .We also played the dragon and banana game ,the children were fully engaged and enjoyed this high energy activity.

Wednesday

On Wednesday we went on the bus to Zoom, the children just love the freedom to explore the different areas it really is great place to go to release all that energy.  We had the whole place to ourselves which was lovely.

Thursday

Thursday we had reptile man come to visit, he brough lots of new friends for the children to meet from corn snakes to a Tortoise and bearded Dragons to an Iguana. The children loved meeting all the different reptiles and were amazed by each one he took out. The reptile man was very informative and answered all the children's questions. They even got to feed the lizard worms, and the huge tortoise some dandelion leaves. We could see how brave the children felt during this activity.
