🌞🌞Welcome to Preschool🌞🌞
We would like to welcome all our new boys and girls, mum's, dads and guardians to the Marian Centre and also welcome back our boys and girls from last year that returned for a second year.
The children are doing so well they have all settled into our preschool routine and are forming some lovely friendships.
Over the last few weeks the children and staff have been very busy getting to know each other we have seen some lovely interactions between the children ,
All the boys and girls have been so busy with all our preschool activities ,painting gluing and sticking, play dough is a big favorite of all the boys and girls.
We have been so lucky with the wonderful weather over the last couple of weeks the children have loved being outside in our yard ,outside offers the children the freedom to run around and helps with bonding and forming connections,
There has been so much learning happening in the groups already ,Catherine and Danielle's group have been "learning all about me" its a wonderful topic where the children learn that we are all unique and special .There has also been huge interest in robots as one of our emergent interests. But most importantly they have been having so much fun .
Maria and Linda's group have also been learning all about me it is a great theme to help us get to know the children especially the new boys and girls starting preschool they have been busy talking about their families ,they have made some beautiful family trees, and have had a big interest in worms !
We put some pipe cleaners in our sand for the children to find ,they had great fun searching for worms that also lead to us bringing out our magnifying glasses and searching for worms in our yard .
