The Marian Centre CLG, Greenpark Rd,  Bray, Co. Wicklow

The Marian Centre is well established Community based Childcare Project that works with the community in the greater Bray area.

 We are looking to recruit a full time Early Years Educator to work in our Greenpark Rd Pre-School,  33.75 hours per week 9.00am – 4.30pm.

ESSENTAIL:

·         Applicants must hold a minimum QQI Level 5 or above qualification in childcare.

·         Have an in-depth Knowledge of Siolta and Aistear, Child Protection guidelines and the Childcare Act.

·         All applicants should be able to demonstrate dedication, flexibility, initiative and an ability to develop a strong, non-judgmental and supportive rapport with children, parents and colleagues.

·         Have a strong ability to work as part of a team.

DESIRABLE:

·         Occupational First Aid certification

·         Community based experience

·         Experience of working in partnership with families 

·         Have a good knowledge of disadvantage communities.
