🌈Outdoors Classroom🌞

Our outdoor learning environment👌 lots of extended learning takes place in the outdoors.

All of our Preschool Teachers have worked hard to promote outdoor learning and with the weather hopefully getting better we will be outside in our outdoor classroom as much as possible.

Lots of sensory and exploration play in our Tuff trays, art and design in our creativity corner.

we have also introduced a nurture area with dolls and blankets soft cushions and mats to chill and take a rest as needed.

In our mud kitchen the children have been busy making potions and pies, lots of sensory exploration as we introduce new scents such as lavender and thyme, rosemary and mint.

This is an area we are working on and hope to being a more new ideas and learning opportunities over the next year.

St Patrick's Day BW 💚

St Patricks Day

St.Patricks Day Parade 

Today was a fun day in school the children did some Patrick's Day 🍀art and crafts and we had our very own parade.

Many of the children will not remember what a St Patrick's day parade looks like but hopefully next year they will be able to experience a real life St Patrick's Day 🇮🇪🍀 with all its noise, costumes and atmosphere. 

We had had a great time preparing for our socially distance parade 🇮🇪 this morning all the boys and girls were so excited. They look so cute waving there flags☘.

 

                                                        Ravenswell Afterschool 

We welcomed the children from junior infants to 2nd class back to the afterschool on Monday 1st March. it was great to see all the children again. 

We welcome back 3rd to 6th class this Monday 15th. We are taking applications for next year 2021 - 2022. If you know anyone that is interested in a place please get them to contact the Marian Centre. The numbers are very limited so get the applications in as soon as possible.
