Spring Planting - Cress Seeds
We had lots of fun planting cress seeds!
This was a wonderful activity that the children really enjoyed. There was great conversations happening around the seeds, how they grow, how much water they needed as well as the fact that we could eat them!
This linked in wonderfully around the themes of communicating & thinking as well as exploring the world around us. It also aided in the children's development of hand eye concentration, as the seeds were so small they really needed to concentrate on where to place them.
