Karen & Rebecca - End of Year Recap
It is hard to believe we are coming towards the end of the year. It has flown by 😁
During the year we have had lots of fun activities happening
Conker painting:
The children went to the park to gather up some conkers, which they then used to create some beautiful art work with. Lots of lovely colours used to represent the changing seasons
When the weather was really nice, the group took advantage of the opportunity to get out and went for lots of walks around the community, visiting the library, the swans, feeding the ducks
Dinosaur Theme:
The children had great fun learning all about dinosaurs. They got the big dinosaurs and used them with their feet painted to create a dinosaur walk
Games in the park:
The children have been playing lots of games in the park, kicking footballs, playing Frisbee and working together as a team
Garda Dee:
We were very lucky and the community guard, Dee, came for a visit. It was very exciting. She showed us her hat, her handcuffs as well as her baton. She even arrested on of our teachers 😆. As she was leaving we got to see her car and hear the sirens
Baby Shark:
Baby Shark was a big feature of our year. The children all had an interest in the song and one day they made shark masks to go with the song and sing it.
Chia Seed Slime:
The children made Chia Seed Slime, they all had lots of fun making this and playing with it. It had a weird texture of slime but had lots of bits in it from the Chia Seeds
