Fun and Games in Art's and Crafts
This morning was all about creativity and Miriam's pod got creative by doing finger painting. This is an open activity and the sky is the limit to explore creations with paint.
Finger painting is sensorial and children can explore the feelings and sensations of touching the paint, allowing children to freely paint increases confidence and to create their own art !
Children love to be independent and explore at their own pace, it's so important that adults give time and space to allow the creativity to flow , children are leaders in their own learning
Sensory play and activities are an integral part of a child's development and learning, its helps them to become more in tune with their body and their different senses. In this activity we focused on the sense of touch, exposing children to a range of sensory activities can help children regulate their body and emotions better.
